DexoPad Privacy Policy

DexoPad is an iOS app used with a USB Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) HID dongle to turn your phone into a wireless keyboard, mouse, touchpad, and macro controller. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

We use this information only for the purposes shown above. DexoPad does not use App Tracking Transparency permission, the IDFA, or information from data brokers. We do not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third-Party SDKs
DexoPad includes the following third-party software development kits:
- Firebase Analytics — product interaction and app usage analytics.
- Firebase Auth — account authentication and user identifiers.
- Google Sign-In — optional Google account sign-in.
- Apple Sign-In — optional Apple account sign-in.
- Firebase In-App Messaging — contextual in-app messages.
- Sentry — crash reporting, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
- Firebase App Check — device and app integrity signals used to protect backend services.

Data Retention
- Account data, including your name, email address, and Firebase user ID, is retained while your account remains active and deleted or anonymized when the account is deleted, subject to legal and security obligations.
- Firebase Analytics event data is retained for up to 60 days.
- Sentry crash, performance, device, and diagnostic data is retained for up to 90 days.
- Other Firebase diagnostic logs are retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse, protect the service, or comply with law.
We may retain limited records for longer where reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including under the European Economic Area's GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to:
- request access to or a copy of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability of information you provided;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- opt out of analytics where an in-app control is available.
California residents may also request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected and information about disclosure. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing from which you need to opt out. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

International Processing and Security
DexoPad is available globally. Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
DexoPad has a 4+ App Store age rating but is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to DexoPad, our data practices, or applicable law. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we may also provide notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
